Privacy Policy
We respect your intellectual property. This policy explains how we handle your text submissions and personal data.
The “No-Training” Guarantee
We explicitly guarantee that text submitted via our public “Guest” scanner is processed in volatile memory for the sole purpose of analysis and is NOT stored in our databases, NOT shared with third parties, and NOT used to train our AI models.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The types of information we collect include:
- Submission Data: Text you paste into the scanner. As noted above, this is transient for guest users.
- Usage Data: Information about how you use our service, such as browser type, time spent on pages, and scanning frequency (metadata only, not content).
- Cookies: Small data files stored on your device to remember your preferences (like Dark Mode settings).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the AI detection service.
- To detect and prevent technical issues or abuse (e.g., DDoS attacks).
- To analyze usage trends to improve user experience (e.g., “Most users scan text on Mondays”).
3. Data Storage & Security
We employ industry-standard security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.
- Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3 (Transport Layer Security).
- Volatile Processing: For non-registered users, analysis occurs in temporary processing threads that are wiped immediately after the result is returned.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services.
- Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for content delivery and security (DDoS protection).
5. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data (if you have an account).
- The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top.
